In the past several years, she has helped fledgling companies in edtech, consumer platforms and apps, media, and sustainability debut to significant recognition and resulting growth. Across her career, she has worked with companies in the aerospace, defense, software innovation, and resource sectors on major announcements, media relations, and long-term strategies. In addition, she led public relations agency accounts for the likes of global television production powerhouse All3Media (then owned by Discovery and Liberty Media), cloud technology leader Avid Technology, and the law firm Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.

In her first career as a political strategist, Lisa was a staffer for Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs (Secretary of State equivalent), an advisor to the federal Minister of Health, and led communications and policy on key portfolios. Lisa worked closely with national media on issues of foreign affairs and defense and national security to advance aims on behalf of governments and political leaders. The Hill Times, Canada’s answer to Politico, named her one of the top political advisors in the country.

She formerly led the communications engine behind national science and technology announcements and messaging by the Government of Canada, advising on market-moving announcements and supervising national communications staff in regional offices across the country.
